POWERFUL BIBLE QUOTES ON JESUS RESURRECTION And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their
synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing
all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I
am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and

and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent
me, and to finish his work. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat
of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will
give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the
world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall
have the light of life. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me
should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and
believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world,
but to save the world. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever
believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. That Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first that
should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people,
and to the Gentiles. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he
might be Lord both of the dead and living. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge,
that if one died for all, then were all dead: And [that] he died
for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves,
but unto him which died for them, and rose again. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all
heavens, that he might fill all things. From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how
that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again
the third day. And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son
of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men: And they shall kill
him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding
sorry. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister,
and to give his life a ransom for many. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many
for the remission of sins. And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many
things, and be rejected of the elders, and [of] the chief priests,
and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man
is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and
after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how
that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders
and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again
the third day.
And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge,
and to crucify [him]: and the third day he shall rise again. But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which
slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection,
and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place
where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that
he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into
Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many
things, and be rejected of the elders, and [of] the chief priests,
and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they
should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man
were risen from the dead. And they kept that saying with themselves,
questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should
mean. And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit
upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee. We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with
hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth,
which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place
where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter
that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as
he said unto you. Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should
accomplish at Jerusalem. And they shall scourge [him], and put him to death: and the third
day he shall rise again. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ
to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son
of man should be glorified. A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while,
and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and
your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many
infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of
the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because
it was not possible that he should be holden of it. He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that
his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead;
whereof we are witnesses. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that
by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom
God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here
before you whole. And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection
of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to
all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, [even]
to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the
world in righteousness by [that] man whom he hath ordained; [whereof]
he hath given assurance unto all [men], in that he hath raised him
from the dead.
And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the
spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on
him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered
for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the
death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved
by his life. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell
in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken
your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather,
that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also
maketh intercession for us. And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us
by his own power. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And
that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according
to the scriptures: Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us
also by Jesus, and shall present [us] with you. And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth
live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose
again. Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and
set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the
fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have
the preeminence. Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him]
through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from
the dead. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead,
[even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from
the dead according to my gospel: Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord
Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the
everlasting covenant, Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which
according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively
hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead,
and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh,
but quickened by the Spirit: The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us
(not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer
of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the
first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
